On December 28th, we left the house at 5am and headed to SFO. We were all very excited about our vacation to New York! This was Ethan's first trip to the Big Apple. Our week was filled with trips to tourist attractions and visits with family and friends. My Aunt Nancy generously gave us her apartment for the week. We had the luxury of staying in Manhattan, a block away from the subway. Despite the freezing cold temperatures, we really had a fabulous trip!
Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best in 2013.

Family Hanukkah Celebration
We delayed our annual Hanukkah party with Mel and Pete until the 22nd, due to Lila's arrival. We had a lot of fun celebrating at our house this year (normally my sister handles Hanukkah). The brisket and latke sliders on Mom's homemade challah rolls were a huge hit. After candle lighting, lots of presents, and tons of food, we celebrated Justin's 36th. Happy Birthday, Justin! In the morning we headed over to Mom and Dad's house for bagels and lox before saying goodbye to M, P, and L.

Auntie E
Mel, Pete, and Baby Lila came to visit this weekend. I'm usually not a "baby person," but I sure loved holding and soothing my sweet, 3-week old niece. She is such a cutie pie!
