She's Seven!

Rebecca, the American Girl doll benefited from A's birthday. She received a new robe and slippers from Uncle Russ and Karen and a bathing suit from Grandma and Grandpa!

Alanna's Birthday Adventure

In lieu of a party, Alanna chose to visit the California Academy of Sciences in SF for her birthday. She invited her best friend, Hannah to come along. We had a wonderful time exploring the museum. The kids loved the rainforest exhibit, the aquarium, and a short performance in the planetarium. Alanna had a terrific birthday celebration!

Pierced Ears

Alanna and her friend, Hannah got their ears pierced together on October 6th! Alanna was definitely nervous, but was so brave. No tears were shed, and she was all smiles once she got to peek at her fancy ears.

Peter's Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday morning, we headed to Petaluma for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We met up with the Albrecht's and had a fun time exploring the farm. Alanna, Ethan, and Jack loved the hay maze, pyramid, and hay ride. Baby Henry enjoyed snuggling with both Dad and Mom in the Ergo!

Baby Shower

Last Sunday, I co-hosted Mel's baby shower in Sacramento with her dear friend, Laura. Everyone had a lovely time celebrating the mama-to-be. We are really looking forward to meeting our little niece or nephew in November!
