Amgen Tour of California

The weather was miserable on Monday afternoon, but it didn't stop us from watching the Amgen bike tour. We were very excited to discover that stage 2 of the race passed right by our house. The crowd wasn't too big, so we had no trouble getting a great spot to watch the bikers. We all cheered loudly as Lance Armstrong and Levi Leipheimer (a Santa Rosa resident) rode by. Such fun!

Little Sis' Bach

We celebrated Melanie's bachelorette on the 8th. What an event! Fifteen of her closest girlfriends piled into a limo and headed to bars along the Sacramento River. Eleven of the ladies were Chico grads...for those of you who don't know, that equated to a very party friendly bunch and non-stop entertainment.

Carmel

Justin and I enjoyed a weekend getaway to Carmel Valley. We had a wonderful time catching up with college friends at Amy & Jeph's wedding. Thank you to Mel, Pete, Mom, & Dad for babysitting!
