Monday Night Football

Last night Justin and I headed down to Candlestick Park to watch the 49ers play the Steelers. Justin's boss and her husband, who are season ticket holders, couldn't make the game and generously gave us their tickets. Despite a couple of power outages, the game was awesome. We had a great time and our team won. Go Niners!!!

The Nutcracker

Alanna and I had a wonderful day together on Sunday. We headed down to SF with her Daisy troop to see The Nutcracker. Thanks to our friend Veronique's Uncle, who works for the SF Ballet, we got to take a backstage tour of the Opera House. The girls got to walk across the stage, touch props and costumes, and take a tour through the dressing rooms. It was an incredible experience!

All dressed up for the ballet

Fun at the Park!

Last weekend we headed up to Mel and Pete's to celebrate Hanukkah (a couple of weeks early). We took the kids to the park and everyone had SO much fun!

"Look Mom, no hands!"

Can you spy Alanna? Look for her tiny arm!

Safari West

Yesterday morning we surprised my Mom with a visit to Safari West as an early birthday present. We all had a lovely time on the "African Queen tour." It was pretty incredible getting to see giraffes and rhinos up close. Alanna enjoyed going up and down the hills on the bus, touching a tortoise, and looking at the flamingos. Ethan's favorite part of the trip was pointing out "zoo poo," along the road!

Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma El!
