Visit with Lila

Mel, Pete, and Lila came to visit this weekend. We had a lot of fun visiting the Russian River Brewery (thanks for watching the kids, Mom and Dad!), swimming, and hiking up to Lake Ilsanjo on Sunday morning. I know I am biased, but my niece is one cute baby!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last Day of Nursery School

On Friday, Alanna and I attended Ethan's "end of the year picnic," at Beth Ami Community Nursery School. It is hard to believe that Ethan has finished nursery school and will be attending Kindergarten next year!

Mother's Day 2013

I had a lovely Mother's Day, and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family! We all woke up on the early side, so I enjoyed snuggling in bed with the kiddos and Justin for awhile. My amazing husband brought me coffee in bed, what a treat! After breakfast, we packed up the car and headed toward the beach. Snack time involved delicious scones from Wildflower Bakery in Freestone...yum. Despite the fog, we all enjoyed Shell Beach. There were tons of little crabs and snails to see in the tidepools. Alanna had a great time collecting treasures and Ethan loved throwing rocks into the water. After a picnic lunch, we packed up and headed for home. I spent the rest of the day gardening a bit and spending time with the fam in our backyard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lego Kid

This guy is for sure a mini-Justin. I think he would spend all of his free time playing with Legos if we let him! He is constanly building new creations; he is currently making a one-person flying vehicle, while I update the blog. On weekends, the kids look forward to building Justin's childhood sets with him. The Bun-Hawk

Miss. A chose to sport the "bun-hawk," for crazy hair day at school. She has really enjoyed participating in spirit days at school this year.
