Here are Ethan's first school photos! He is having an amazing year in the 2's class.

Roller Skating

This morning Alanna tried roller skating for the first time. They had a special event at Cal Skate for little kids, where parents could walk in the rink with their children. We met Alanna's friends Madelyn and Riley there. She had a lot of fun!

Wine Tasting

We had an awesome day wine tasting with Mel, Pete, Katie, and Rex on the 12th. We started off at Eric Ross Winery in Glen Ellen, had a delicious lunch at the fig cafe (the grilled cheese is amazing), then headed to Imagery Estate Winery (K and R are wine club members = we tasted lots of wine), and then stopped in at Arrowood. A huge thank you to my in-laws for babysitting!

Gymnastics

Miss. A started gymnastics two weeks ago with her friend Hannah. She really seems to love it, especially learning to do "cartwheels."

Cookies

Two weeks ago, Alanna did her first Daisy Girl Scout "booth sale." She and her friend manned a booth at Friedman's Lumber for two hours. They sold seventy boxes of cookies. Go Alanna!

The Smith's Visit

A few weeks ago, Susan, Dax, and Rand came to visit from San Jose. Susan and I met at the Good Sam New Moms' Group and have been close friends since 2006. It is so wonderful to watch Alanna and Dax reconnect and play together. Rand (3) and Ethan had tons of fun playing too. It's hard for Susan and me to get a conversation in amidst the chaos, but of course it is always great to see her as well!
