1900 or 2011?

Have you ever looked at photos of your family from the early 1900's and realized that they never smiled? I am sure there is a reasonable explanation, such as cameras took such a long time to take a picture that it was not worth smiling, or it was more proper and formal to look serious rather than smile. Well, Pete thought it would be fun to take a picture looking very serious at the table. Of course the rest of us had to follow suit. The photo shoot and pictures made us laugh, hope it brings a smile to your face too. (I know, we're a crazy bunch.) I swear, everyone was really having a nice time! Thanksgiving 2011

We hosted Thanksgiving again this year. There were twelve of us, including: my parents, my in-laws, Mel and Pete, my cousin Shari, and her mother Lee. We all had a wonderful time, the house was filled with laughter, family, and delicious food...what more could you ask for?
