Family Trip to Mexico

On the 14th we headed to Cabo San Lucas with my parents, Mel, and Pete. We stayed in a 4-bedroom penthouse condo that was a block away from Medano Beach. We spent most of the week playing at the beach and pool with the kiddos, but also enjoyed a glass bottom boat ride to Lover's Beach, visited San Jose Del Cabo, Justin and my Dad snorkeled, and we got to enjoy a delicious dinner out with Mel and Pete. The kids had a blast and keep asking when we can go on vacation again. I'm glad our first big trip was such a success!

Ethan is Three!

Ethan turned three on Memorial Day! We began celebrating a day early, with a few of his closest friends and grandparents. He requested a Thomas party, so we played train themed games and enjoyed (homemade) railroad crossing cupcakes. Mommy created Thomas out of a large box for a bean bag toss, as well as James and his tender for another game. The kids had tons of fun climbing in the boxes! We ended the day with a lovely barbecue with the grandparents.

On Ethan's actual birthday, he opened presents and we went for a hike and had a picnic lunch in Annadel State Park. The kids had a great time exploring and searching for fairy homes. For a special birthday treat, we drove to Sebastopol and enjoyed delicious ice cream at Screamin' Mimi's. Ethan's choice for a birthday dinner were his favorite foods: tomatoes, cheese, strawberries, and pasta.
