Some pictures from our last week in San Jose. On Friday the 10th, we had a play date at the park to celebrate Alanna's birthday (a week early). It was a nice way to say "goodbye," to all of the wonderful friends we made through the Good Sam Mom's group. The night before we moved, we were invited over to the Smith's house. Susan made a delicious dinner and we celebrated Alanna's birthday. Dax was very proud of the cake he helped decorate.

We are going to miss everyone VERY much!

The Magers have been VERY busy the past couple of weeks. On the 25th, Justin and the kids headed up to Santa Rosa to spend the weekend with Sherry and John. I went to Vegas with Mom and Dad for Carolyn and Dave's wedding. For those of you that don't know, Carolyn and I have been friends since kindergarten (1982). On Thursday evening I attended her bachelorette party, which included a pole dancing class and a Chippendales show (very cheesy, yet entertaining). Friday night was the rehearsal dinner at Mandalay Bay. The wedding was held at the Four Seasons on Saturday evening and was truly amazing. It was tough being away from Justin, Alanna, and Ethan, but it was definitely fun celebrating with all of my friends from Somers.

We are now in the midst of packing. Our move is scheduled for the 13th of October. Although we are very excited to embark on this adventure, it is going to be hard to leave all of the good friends we have made in the South Bay. We are also sad to be moving further away from my parents. We hope to have lots of visitors!

The Magers' have some big news to share - we are moving next month! Justin has accepted a position with National Instruments as a Senior RF/Microwave Design Engineer. We will be relocating to Justin's hometown, Santa Rosa, CA, which is about 55 miles north of San Francisco. We're moving to wine country! Last week, I went with my in-laws to look at a few rentals, as well as a new school for Alanna. We found a really nice nursery school at Temple Beth Ami. Now we are just waiting to hear back from the owner of a condo to rent...keep your fingers crossed! We have the movers coming to do an estimate on Monday and found 40 free moving boxes on Craigslist. We're making progress.

Tomorrow I am off to Vegas for my friend Carolyn's wedding. Justin and the kids are heading to my in-laws for the weekend. Come Monday, it will be time to pack, pack, pack.
