I had a lovely Mother's Day, and feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family! We all woke up on the early side, so I enjoyed snuggling in bed with the kiddos and Justin for awhile. My amazing husband brought me coffee in bed, what a treat! After breakfast, we packed up the car and headed toward the beach. Snack time involved delicious scones from Wildflower Bakery in Freestone...yum. Despite the fog, we all enjoyed Shell Beach. There were tons of little crabs and snails to see in the tidepools. Alanna had a great time collecting treasures and Ethan loved throwing rocks into the water. After a picnic lunch, we packed up and headed for home. I spent the rest of the day gardening a bit and spending time with the fam in our backyard.

The Lego Kid
This guy is for sure a mini-Justin. I think he would spend all of his free time playing with Legos if we let him! He is constanly building new creations; he is currently making a one-person flying vehicle, while I update the blog. On weekends, the kids look forward to building Justin's childhood sets with him. Here is a picture of Ethan with the airport.
The Bun-Hawk
Miss. A chose to sport the "bun-hawk," for crazy hair day at school. She has really enjoyed participating in spirit days at school this year.
