Spring Encampment

Last weekend, Alanna and I attended Spring Encampment at Camp Bothin in Fairfax with her girl scout troop. I really enjoyed our Mother/Daughter time together. I loved watching Alanna perform in a skit, "hop" tables in the dining hall (waitress), and of course, seeing her play and laugh with her Brownie friends always puts a smile on my face. I also participated in a "work party" while we were there. I built a picnic table along with my friends, Victoria and Gina. We came home exhausted, but it was worth it! Thank you, Victoria for the great pictures.

Walk to End Genocide

Sunday morning, the kids, my Mom, and I participated in the Jewish World Watch annual, "Walk to End Genocide" with our synagogue. Here is a link about yesterday's walk, published in our local paper:

Passover (Part 2)

On the 30th, we headed up to Sacramento to celebrate Passover with Mel, Pete, and Lila. The weather was gorgeous, so we had our Seder outside. A fun day was had by all...the kids played on the grass, a football was tossed around, we ate yummy food, and Dad enjoyed a relaxing afternoon snooze.
