Good-bye Old Mint

Last week we had our gutters replaced and the exterior of our house painted. A friend summed up the make-over perfectly, "the house no longer looks like an old lady lives there." We love the new color and have received lots of compliments from the neighbors.

The Sock Hop

Last night we attended the annual "sock hop," fundraiser for Alanna's school district. The kids had a great time dancing with their friends and eating treats.

Winter Vacation

On December 28th, we left the house at 5am and headed to SFO. We were all very excited about our vacation to New York! This was Ethan's first trip to the Big Apple. Our week was filled with trips to tourist attractions and visits with family and friends. My Aunt Nancy generously gave us her apartment for the week. We had the luxury of staying in Manhattan, a block away from the subway. Despite the freezing cold temperatures, we really had a fabulous trip!
