Ethan turned three on Memorial Day! We began celebrating a day early, with a few of his closest friends and grandparents. He requested a Thomas party, so we played train themed games and enjoyed (homemade) railroad crossing cupcakes. Mommy created Thomas out of a large box for a bean bag toss, as well as James and his tender for another game. The kids had tons of fun climbing in the boxes! We ended the day with a lovely barbecue with the grandparents.
On Ethan's actual birthday, he opened presents and we went for a hike and had a picnic lunch in Annadel State Park. The kids had a great time exploring and searching for fairy homes. For a special birthday treat, we drove to Sebastopol and enjoyed delicious ice cream at Screamin' Mimi's. Ethan's choice for a birthday dinner were his favorite foods: tomatoes, cheese, strawberries, and pasta.
